It started at a race weekend in 2002, with a forgotten transponder.

"What we need," said our CTO, "is a timing system that doesn't need to be zip tied, doesn't need to be charged or have its battery replaced, is so cheap that it doesn't matter if it gets destroyed and which is consistent and accurate."

Fast forward to 2008, with the first production use of TITAN RFID to manage timing and scoring for races. After six years of research and development, the solution is so elegant and so easy to use that Zoomius has patents pending.

TITAN RFID provides the "missing link" for organizations using our market-leading TIGER system to manage registrations. TIGER allows organizations to take their registrations online, manage entries and manage financials for each event and season... handle on-day check-in and tech inspection record keeping, and post event activities.

But what if you want laptimes? Or even more complex, manage races too?

If you're a school or track day organization, the price barrier for providing laptimes as a service to your customers has just been crushed. Interested in paying $400 for a transponder and it needs to be charged up? Nope. Instead, try about $0.40. Yes, that's forty cents. You can see at a glance how many conflicts you have with various grid combinations and race day orders;
Creating your grids takes two clicks (and one of those is the "Print" button). Gridding occurs automatically in whatever order your rulebook states... points in class, points from previous season, overall points, order entry received, license status, qualifying times, practice times, entire lap history... or any combination of any data! You're in complete control. If we have the info in the database, you can grid by it;
As many race management consoles as you like! One at race control, one at tech, one at announce, one at timing and scoring... whatever you like. All you need is a computer with a web browser. "Computer with a web browser" is a fairly loose definition, too. TITAN works really well on iPhones and Nokia N810s! You can set permissions for what each station can see and do;
Predictive display of when we expect to see EACH vehicle again based specifically on their own performance, with automatic highlighting of overdue vehicles;
Race, Qualifying and Practice modes;
Full race audit trail for every single race;
Print a tape for each race with the audit trail as it occurs;
Live timing and scoring out in your paddock (wireless network required, and we can help with that, too);
Don't print lap sheets any more... laptimes are automatically deposited in the personal account of each of your participants at your website (not ours). Unless they specifically share them, no-one can see anyone else's times;
Split times? No problem.
Billing records are automatically updated based on your rules regarding participation;
Auto-detection of racers... someone goes out in an additional practice session? No problem! Create a billing record for them automatically (as well as a penalty fee if you like);
Results management is easy! With TITAN RFID you'll find the results already in the finishing order when you go to Results Management. A few drag-n-drops, a few DQs and you're ready to finalize the results. Points are automatically awarded and championships automatically updated in real time according to your points schemes and on your website. Updated points may be immediately used for regridding later races if desired;
